The mission of the Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management Specialist is to manage, configure, evolve, and maintain the company’s internal IT infrastructure and the customers' hosted infrastructure Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The specialist is also responsible for client relationship management and staying up to date with technological developments in infrastructure and security.
- Participate in planning, designing, implementing, and stabilizing the Microsoft Azure cloud environment within the company.
- Assist in developing the infrastructure architecture to ensure that software products (I.e., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) are designed for successful deployment, strong security, and high availability in the Azure cloud environment.
- Respond to requests related to infrastructure sizing, technical analysis, and design for migration or optimization of infrastructures hosted in Microsoft Azure, as well as deployment effort estimation for current or potential clients.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of Azure core services including ( server, storage, network, and security);
- Participate in the design and implementation of service automation within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
- Monitor the operational load, track availability and integrity of servers, systems, and processes hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
- Ensure that infrastructure components meet appropriate performance and capacity standards.
- Maintain software solutions to ensure high levels of availability, scalability, security, and compatibility.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of proof of concepts for servers, storage, network, security, etc.;
- Use technical expertise and collaborate with leadership to diagnose and resolve problems;
- Manage relationships with Microsoft by maintaining positive business and technical interactions.
- Engage in consulting and technology tracking activities, staying current with industry standards and emerging technologies to provide recommendations on trends, and act as an infrastructure management expert for internal teams and clients;
- Regularly produce relevant technical documentation for R&D purposes.
